The ongoing crisis in Gaza. Most civilian infrastructure has been almost completely destroyed, and 96% of people do not have enough food. As well as conflict, the healthcare system has all but collapsed, clean water is scarce. Most people have been displaced several times, but there is nowhere safe for them to go. Red Cross teams are ready to scale up support to those who desperately need it.

Around 46,000 people in Gaza have died and 109,000 have been injured, 16 out of the 36 hospitals in Gaza are functioning, 90% of Gaza's 2.1 miliion population has been displaced.
To help people in Gaza survive right now, they need tents, blankets, mattresses, food, clean water, and medical care. Red Cross has been working tirelessly to help alleviate people suffering whenever they can but need more people to help by donating or spreading the word. Red Cross has helped many people in gaza by provided human essentials.
How the Red Cross has helped people
The Red Cross has provided a cooked meal a day to 25,000 people in Gaza, as well as ready-to-eat food parcels to over 32,000 people and food bars to around 200,000 people. They provided essential itiems to around 1.4 million and hvae helped over 1.4 million people to clean water. Red Cross have provided medical care for 300 people a day, The hospital has performed over 2,000 operations and 47,000 consultations.
Riley
Riley has a codition that affects his lungs meaning he has to rely on a portable oxygen tank everyday. Due to the donations he has had the opportunity to be funded a Specialist Play Therapist who has helped Riley understand his current situation. This funded therapist has been a great support for Riley and his family.
